LESS FRICTION, MORE CLARITY

Start with the payment
and the people behind it.

A useful payment setup connects a business purpose to a payer, a beneficiary, a currency, and a bank route. Qanto focuses on USD and EUR payment capabilities for businesses that need to collect funds or pay commercial counterparties.

PAYMENT RAILS

Choose the route
that fits the transfer.

The right rail depends on where payer and beneficiary bank accounts sit, how quickly funds are needed, and how the payment will be identified in your records.

$
01 / UNITED STATES DOLLAR

USD payments

Choose a bank payment rail around the amount, urgency, and recipient. Common US dollar options include:

ACH

US bank transfer

ACH credit pushes funds to a US account; ACH debit pulls funds with the account holder's authorization. Businesses commonly use ACH for recurring invoices and supplier payments. Account and routing numbers are required.

Reconcile: keep the authorization and invoice reference; account for returns and bank processing days.

Domestic wire

US bank transfer

Often selected for a specific, time-sensitive domestic business payment. Instructions generally include the beneficiary name, bank routing number, and account number. Bank cut-off times and fees apply.

Reconcile: match the wire reference and record any sender-paid or recipient-paid fees.

International wire

Cross-border transfer

Used to send or receive USD across borders. Details can include beneficiary name and address, account number or IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, and intermediary bank instructions when required.

Reconcile: account for intermediary deductions and retain the end-to-end payment reference.

EUR payments

For euro-denominated business, the recipient's location helps determine which bank transfer rail fits:

SEPA Credit Transfer

SEPA area · EUR

A payer-initiated euro credit transfer between participating banks in the SEPA area. It is distinct from SEPA Direct Debit. The beneficiary name and IBAN are central; a BIC may be requested for some routes.

Reconcile: include a unique remittance reference and match it to the invoice or payout record.

International wire

Cross-border transfer

May fit a euro transfer when the recipient or route sits outside the SEPA flow, or when a wire is specifically required. Details commonly include beneficiary name and address, IBAN or account number, SWIFT/BIC, and intermediary instructions if applicable.

Reconcile: allow for bank fees or currency conversion along the route and compare the amount received with the instruction.

THE PAYMENT JOURNEY

Keep the whole
journey in view.

For business payments, the work around the transfer matters too: verify instructions, add a reference, monitor the outcome, and match the posted amount.

01

Set complete instructions

Confirm the beneficiary name and account details through a trusted channel before a first payment or any bank-detail change.

+
02

Identify the transfer

Use an invoice or remittance reference the recipient can recognize. Confirm who pays transfer fees, especially on cross-border wires.

03

Close the books

Compare the instruction with the bank posting: payer, beneficiary, currency, amount received, value date, fees, and reference.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions worth
asking early.

Clear expectations make payment planning easier for everyone.

Which currencies does Qanto focus on?

Qanto's payment focus is US dollars (USD) and euros (EUR). The payment methods and specific flows available to a business should be confirmed directly based on its needs.

Which bank details are needed?

US domestic transfer instructions commonly use the beneficiary name and account and routing numbers. A SEPA euro credit transfer centers on the beneficiary name and IBAN. A cross-border wire may require an address, SWIFT/BIC, and intermediary bank details. Use verified instructions for the specific route.

Why can the received amount differ?

Fees charged by sending, intermediary, or receiving banks can affect a wire's received amount. Currency conversion may also change the credit. Agree the fee arrangement and compare the bank posting with the payment instruction.

Does Qanto support every rail listed here?

The rails above describe common USD and EUR bank transfer methods. Supported routes, collection or payout availability, timing, and fees depend on the business and payment corridor; confirm them with Qanto before relying on a route.

What should I bring to a payment review?

Bring a sample invoice or payment instruction with sensitive account details removed, the countries and currencies involved, an expected amount range, payment frequency, and the reference needed for reconciliation.
